The Seekers is the pop-folk band that was active in 1960ies, 1970ies, and 1980ies before they fell apart. Then, in 1990ies, they got separated. They tell that they do not have to be moved on their way to heaven. The same as the tree that is firmly standing in the water trying to survive with all its strengths. They are brothers (and a sister) who is holding on each other, this is theirs big might. As they remain together, they are strong. Once they are scattered, they are weak. That is why they repeat the same idea through the entire length of the song, as the red thread that must glue this song together. We Shall Not Be Moved Song Lyrics

Well I'm on my way to heaven
We shall not be moved
On my way to heaven
We shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
On the road to freedom
We shall not be moved
On the road to freedom
We shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
We're brothers together
We shall not be moved
We're brothers together
We shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
We shall not we shall not be moved
Just like a tree that's standing by the water side
We shall not be moved
