10,000 Emerald Pools

10,000 Emerald Pools Lyrics

10,000 Emerald Pools Song Lyrics

I'll dive in deeper, deeper for you
Down to the bottom, 10,000 emerald pools
Down to the bottom, 10,000 emerald pools
Under water
Time is standing still
You're the treasure
Dive down deeper
Still, all I need is you
You're all I need to breathe
All I need is you!

I'll make a living, trying to get away
10,000 fathoms, under a tidal wave
It can never pull me away
No way!
Under water
Time is standing still
You're the treasure
Dive down deeper
Still, all I need is you
You're all I need to breathe
All I need is you!
You're all I need to breathe
Down to the bottom, 10,000 emerald pools
You're all I need to breathe
I'll dive in deeper, deeper for you
You're all I need to breathe

All I need is you!
All I need is you!
It can never pull me away
Time is standing still
Dive down deeper
Still, all I need is you
You're all I need to breathe
All I need is you!

There is a case when a clip is so boring that there is no need to explain it at all. This isn’t the case – it is fascinating, outstanding, and captivating. First from the analysis line, it is worth mentioning that it is filmed completely under water. There are two bodies in it – female and male. By the end of the clip, we have an opportunity to gaze at the naked bodies’ silhouettes that dive into the water and swirl in front of cameras. Secondly, the filming gains momentum, as it is done upside down. Thus, the water surface is flipped downwards and it seems to us that there are people-mermaids stand and swim not in the water, but in some very dense atmosphere, as the surface is at the bottom, not in the upper side, as it is supposed to be in the real life. The third line of analysis is that it totally greatly follows the line of narration of the lyrics and the name of a song itself – it shows several pools and in the end, we even see as the people fly-by the pool’s neck, dive into it and swim. The girl swims in very light and loose attire, particularly exhibiting time from time her curvaceous points on the body. But the exposure of her body isn’t the main case of the clip. Rather, it is made only to slightly take a breath and to admire her rather from the aesthetics point of view than by her forms directly. The main thing is sliding through the water, to follow the smooth and facile movements of protagonists in this life-giving element, water.
As for this Indie pop song’s lyrics, they are simpler than the clip. Aside of many parallels to water’s diving, 10 000 numbers of whatever (emerald pools or fathoms), it is all rather for saying that a person loves a girl and would go as far and as deep as she asks him to. She is all he needs and when they are together, time stands still, which is actually good for him as he can spend all this time with her exclusively. He is going to dive deeper in her, holding his breath and it is unknown, whether the breath is held from her beauty or because of his desire to keep her smell inside his lungs as long as it is possible.
This song is included on their album Dopamine released in October 2015, a year ago from the moment as this song walk into our site. There are several genres of this album: synthpop, alternative rock, psychedelic pop, and Indie pop. It was their second brainchild and 9 main musical critic sites gave it the overall appraise equal to 85 out of 100, or A-. It came out drastically stylish, better in the expressive mood than Lana Del Ray, works of whom influenced the fellows from Børns – they are called like that. In the weekly US Billboard, the song was in the second position and as of the end of the year – on 24th, while in Canada it was only at 56th at the peak.
