This is a pop soul by Shirley Ellis, an African American performer. The extremely simple and we would even say the primitive song that is much cheered and tells about what a girl sees around and feels in life, like choked monkey who chewed all tobacco and a goose who drank all wine (they all went dead after what they did). A girl kissed an army guy and will now not receive a doll from her mother because of that. And after, people should clap their hands for whatever reason, listening to a sequence of these events in this pop-soul primitive chef-d'oeuvre of the folk direction.
