John Legend is a guy who is the songwriter, a singer, and the music producer. He also likes fire obviously, if he has at least three songs devoted to this essential natural element. The first was a song produced six years ago and called ‘The Fire’. It was featuring ‘The Roots’ band. The second song he did about the fire has been named ‘Can't Start A Fire’ that he did together with Bruce Springsteen. And the third song about the fire, ‘Start A Fire, was written and performed by him for ‘La La Land’ exclusively.

Maybe it is because of this song he was noticed and asked to write a brand new song for this film? In the contradiction to the previous couple of songs of the gloomy mood, it is very uplifting and has the fast pace. What is also remarkable about this song – are the guitar riffs that sounds like from the middle of 197ies, where disco music was very popular.
This piece is perfect for the underlining of the uplifted mood of the heroes when they only care about fine dancing together. This song contains three verses, several bridges, and choruses. The basic meaning of it is that a singer asks everyone to become reckless tonight. It feels so good when they are dancing that he is glad to repeat this. He says that if they were keeping on dancing, they would take their spirits to the new heights. They would also feel the heat of passion and lighted up the night. He is moving his body but he actually doesn't know if this is wrong or right, he also doesn't know if there is a right beat for this dancing and he doesn't know if anyone is following him or he is just alone at this dance floor. All he knows is he feels extremely good about dancing and he feels invigorated when dances.
John Legend performs in the several genres. These are R&B, soul, pop, and neo-soul directions. He is also associated to Kanye West, 'The Roots', and Jamie Foxx brands. His most well known song named ‘All Of Me’ has been rated number one across the world and also was as much as eight times Platinum according to RIAA, 7 x Platinum according to ARIA and at least two times Platinum according to other rating bodies.
