Dinah Washington made the tremendous blues (no wonder in her time she was called the Queen of Blues). She also operated in other neighboring genres like jazz, R&B, gospel, and traditional pop, which in her times (1924-1963) differed from today’s pop. She sings about the difference of the day (one from another) and in the end, tells that a difference is in you (someone whom she loved). The difference is the moment of bliss.
For that song, Dinah Washington received a Grammy Award and that was a great success for an African American singer in that times. Why so many talented people leave us so soon?
