Worth the Wait
Worth the Wait Lyrics
Worth the Wait Song Lyrics
I never saw the sun, seemed the sky was always grey
Had a heart I locked away without a key
I was drifting like a beggar, looking lost and out of place
Had a cold and empty space inside of me
Never saw it coming, no I didn't have a clue
I was on my way to nothing, til I found my way to you
I know that good things can take a little time
But baby you were worth the wait
I've spent a lifetime just waiting for a sign
And what I finally found in you, I have to say
Was worth the wait
Always felt like I was drowning, like a sailor lost at sea
And every ship they sent for me just passed me by
Never thought I'd ever make it, yeah I thought the world had me beat
Cause every thing I tried to see just left me blind
Never knew what I was missing, all my dreams were out of view
Couldn't see what I was chasing, till you came out of the blue
I know that good things can take a little time
But baby you were worth the wait
I've spent a lifetime just waiting for a sign
And what I finally found in you, I have to say
Was worth the wait
Never saw it coming, no I didn't have a clue
I was on my way to nothing, til I found my way to you
I know that good things can take a little time
But baby you were worth the wait
I've spent a lifetime just waiting for a sign
And what I finally found in you, I have to say
And what I finally found in you, I have to say
And what I finally found in you, I have to say
Was worth the wait
You were worth the wait

Cherry Suede, apparently single-handedly created all description in this soundtrack. We are not mind, but contrary, fully supportive. This composition is very lyrical. Executed by two guitars, which first takes the title role, this rock is filled with strong and booming voice. Towards the end, strings of the second guitar are plucked by precise movements of the fingers of the second musician, creating unusual rolls by this.
