The song by Townes Van Zandt is a mixture of blues and country rock with a little slice of folk. Altogether it makes interesting fusion, where on the foreground is his voice. Lyrics are about his hollow life full of grieves. He has interesting presents for his papa and mama and got a bunch of friends in different places of the country. He doesn’t want to return to a little hometown of his girlfriend and it seems like he wants to forget about her either. He has lots of time during the day, especially evenings, and will search for a place to hide his face from the winds blowing right on him. He has a head full of lies.
