Love Hurts

Love Hurts Lyrics
Love Hurts Song Lyrics
Love hurts
Love scars, love wounds and mars
Any heart not touched
or strong enough
can take a lot of pain
Take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud
Holds a lot of rain
Love hurts
Love hurts
I'm young, I know
But even so
I know a thing, or two
I've learned from you
I really learned a lot
Really learned a lot
Love is like a stove
Burns you when its hot
Love hurts
Love hurts
Some fools rave of happiness
Blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves I guess
But they're not fooling me
I know it isn't true
Know it isn't true
Love is just a lie
Made to make you blue
Love hurts
Love hurts
Love hurts

A cover by Boudleaux Bryant on REM song. Love hurts, leaves scars on the heart and other marks on you and inside you. This is light pop, sang in the 60-ies’ style. The guy, who sings that, is obviously young and he cries a lot because some girl left him. He recalls a few things he learnt from her. He does not understand ones, who experience warm and explosive feelings from love (‘happiness, blissfulness, togetherness’), as he is a heart-broken.
