Do you remember when you as a child ran to a TV to watch your favorite TV series? The main character has declared its desire sequel. Moreover, the project has already been supported. There are just some unknown importance left. Who will be the new Xena? When will we finally see the first trailer? Will it be a full-length movie or a sequel TV show? The excitement has risen, although the news was known only one or two days ago. Let us lift the curtain of mystery!

What awaits us in the new scenario?

So, we will see "the restart" of the old version. Will the story be similar is still unknown, but the creators has already given several answers. Firstly, we will see the first experiment's results already in 2016. Secondly, the film has planned scale because, due to the trend of nostalgia, the impressive demand is awaited. The studio, which will shoot the project, is going to be NBC. The creators of the series remain in the same roles but now they look for a new writer. Probably, exactly because of complete lack of data about the project but the audience is already intrigued! Xena has become a real superhero of her generation. She was not a refined, sophisticated woman, but Xena was a real fighter. We'll see what the writers came up to by creating the new version. Probably there will be two pilot series. This will be done in order to assess the real prospects, because the very first series (because of pure curiosity) is going to be seen literally by everyone. At least for giving an honor to the past times.

We hasten to answer the main intrigue of the project: whether Xena will stay in the same guise? Unfortunately, no. Actress from the classical saga will not play Xena. On the one hand, the time is passing by and it is not so simple to play a young girl. On the other hand stays the fact that the actress has embodied her role. It's kind of a boost, allowing going forward to other talented artists. Perhaps the former Xena will participate in the project in any other way, as a consultant or assistant of writers. In any case, history will soon receive degeneration but not the continuation. The premiere is scheduled for next year. The main thing is it can simply will be lost in the list of other "reboots": X-Files, Twin Peaks, and others.
