The most magical time is coming. Time, when the dreams come true! It is exactly this rosy and joyous mood, especially made for those who look forward to Christmas! Laughter, smiles, the famous red-nose deer Rudolf… All this is indispensable attributes of day, beloved by young and adults. The day for everyone to be united. Christmas has always been and will be a family holiday. But what if bright dreams of goodness and happiness would be mixed with a touch of horror and madness? We tried to find out what will happen!

What has ruined the spirit of X-day?

Do you know ancient legends? Do you realize that not all magical creatures are good? Are you, finally, familiar with the name Krampus  – the terrible evil Santa’s compatriot, whose worst deal is not only presenting a charcoal? The new film in the best traditions of the genre of horror, to fill the Christmas atmosphere with it. Surprisingly, the grim motifs have been put very harmonic into the story. The tale has not lost the soul and aim of the holiday. This movie is not a classical fairytale. Nevertheless, the film is full of jokes. Heroes – a big family – save the situation and try to comfort each other at least with humor.

What the story was made for?

Classic Christmas eve: a large family gathers in a house outside the city. The atmosphere is full of snow, cozy crackling fireplace; a table has plenty of food. The children play, the adults discuss the past year, and the shiny decorations only remind of the upcoming holiday. Gifts, tinsel, glitter, warmth and comfort… But at some point, we realize that the family is far from perfect. This holiday is almost a hard labor. Most adults are just waiting, when will it finally ends, and kids are fighting or shouting. Well, after all, Christmas reconcile everyone, right? No. Not Christmas but…fear – that's what really unites these people. They will have to spend some time in a complete unaware of what it happening before realizing the loss of unity and celebration. So that is why He came. The night monster from the old legends. Krampus . Claws and hooves instead of feet, the army of comrades, creepy toys – that is what Krampus brings with him. Now we just have to worry about the heroes' fate and the holiday. Without unnecessary spoilers we just inform you: you will be impressed with the ending of the movie.
