The picture tells the real story of a New York socialite who worked long and hard trying to build a career as an opera singer. Despite all efforts, she was not able to achieve the dream for one simple reason: she hasn’t neither voice nor an ear for music. Thanks to an inheritance left by her father, endless rehearsals and indulgence of listeners, some success in music still was achieved.
