Emily Blunt for Marry Poppins

Emily Blant’s name is like a synonym for a strong woman, filled in armor after releasing her last “Edge of Tomorrow”. According to the actress herself, there are only few women who are suitable for such roles. The list includes, according to her:

She probably may be right as her words sound like “who than if not them?” and most of directors agree with her. They just do not see women in such dangerous roles as it always look like a parody: a beauty with a gun against the beast. This is an old-fashioned fairytale despite it is not a canonic version.

What to wait from her?

Disney studio just suddenly mentioned that Emily is one of the main actresses that are possible to play new Mary Poppins. In addition, it is not going to be a film shown in a cinema; Disney continues its practice of making musical performances.

New classics

Previous Disney’s musical experience expressed in such performances as “Chicago”, “Into the Woods”. By the way, the last one was presented to public not long time ago and had a colossal success. Disney puts everything on zero – in this case, it was all the famous faces such as Meryl Streep and Anna Kendrick and so one. We cannot say the film was beloved by everyone but doubtless it was impressive. Emily says that this opportunity is not only to show her talent but to give one of her favorite fairytales the second fresh breath.
