Alice Returns This Spring

Disney studio announced the second part of the movie based on L. Carroll’s book. Classical “Through the looking glass” will be a continuation of legendary “Alice In Wonderland”. Last weekend thousands of fans could finally see tiny part of magic Alice’s world. Disney had shown a short teaser video only 11 seconds long. We must admit that there is everything what could have been even put in such a short period of time.

What the new film will be about?

According to the new teaser, we cannot say for sure will the plot be changed or not, but most of all it will be very close to classical variant of the story. We also can see two posters with Alice herself and Mad Hatter in a famous Tim Burton make up style. This red hair, bright colorful image impresses as much as at the first time. Maybe in the film we will find out how all weird characters became the ones they are now.

What can we see in the teaser?

We can see a door opens and a person who steps over the threshold. She starts to fall and fly over the clouds, when we realize it is Alice! The story’s plot connected strongly with the theme of time, which is humanized as a person.

Who will act?

Of course, to the fans’ joy, Depp, Wasikowska, Bohnam-Carter and Hathaway will return in the second part performing their beloved characters. As the new member of the team, we will see Sacha Baron Kohen as Time. His appearance is still under the mask of secrecy but the director James Bobin says that he will be no less impressive than his colleagues.

The specialty of the teaser

Another funny thing is that the teaser was released exactly the day when the clock fell back one hour. Very effective way to show the connection with the timeline in the film. In addition, director admitted his intention to show the childhood and pre-histories of characters. Alice will be travelling through the time and space. The release is mentioned to be May 27^th, 2016.
