Are You Ready To Play?

Jumanji. Don't you feel anything special while pronouncing or there are goosebumps running through your neck? Maybe you have not watched the legendary film with Robin Williams (or have read the original book by Chris Van Allsburg), even though we personally believe that everyone saw it, if you are adult enough, at least, aged after 30. And now we are waiting for, as you might have guessed, a full remake of this wonderful film, but… what's the catch? The sad truth consists in attitude of fans, who are strongly against such disrespectful approach to the legendary tape. At the moment, the final words about shooting were said, but the negative reviews did not keep us waiting. Members and fans have reminded that the actor passed just two years ago, so to shoot a completely modern variant of one of the most legendary of his roles is a real sacrilege. We suspect that the output picture will lead to boycott because fans are very convincing and confident in their abilities. But we will discuss everything in order.

The decision with the consequences

The new film of the same name consists and based on the same plot and will be shown to publicity already this year. Sony Company creates a remake. The big mistake would be a decision to release the film approximately simultaneously with a new picture of Tim Burton, as critics say. The truth is between these two movies it is absolutely obvious that we will choose Burton. On his account, there are such things as “Big Fish”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Corpse Bride”, “Edward Scissorhands” and all his works receive impeccable assessment of viewers just because they all have original stories. Creation a complete copy of Jumanji is not what the public is now required. At least judging by the audience ratings of the review, the picture will not have the great success. In addition, the recruitment of the team is a very doubtful question. Williams' role is not that difficult but is a cult. To select actor who literally will replace Robin is so subtle and filigree work, which is almost impossible to execute even for a professional.

When to expect?

The original version's day of release was in 1995! It seems that it was only recently, but in fact, more than 20 years have passed. This remake is planned not only to this picture; the fact is that this year by all correspondence has been called "the year of remakes". We will see a continuation of the famous 90s TV series, movies, and other big returnings on a stage & screens. This saga will continue in 2017, but the main boom would still be at the present time. Remember the old records; obtain the tape from the mezzanine, because everything tells that it is The Time to refresh our memory about all beloved in childhood and youth. Also, the same studio recently pleased us with the news of the plans to make a film based on an episode by S. King. Scary fun!
