As a traditional drug dealer, Future's music seldom shows a picture of the dark street - with some tracks being personal heartbreak hits. On "Mask Off," he raps, "Percocets, molly, Percocets / Chase a check, never chase a bitch" —accepting the rap lifestyle in all its murky glory. The flute melody on this track provides a dark backdrop for his harsh realities and makes a somber, reflective mood.
