Gentle guitar + soft voices = country blues, which can be listened to when sad. This song is not uplifting. On the contrary, it was done so to make you sadder. But in the second half it contains some lift, which is impossible to ignore. It definitely affected, but in what direction – it is up to you. If you want, you can even buy a few albums of the singer and systematically listen to them.
