For fans of horror king, it is not a secret that the Dark Tower's movie version will be released soon. Besides the legendary "It", this work's among the popular ones, which won a huge number of fans everywhere. Every day we learn more about this film that promises to be truly spectacular as it is engaged in monitoring by Stephen King himself, who prefers to constantly monitor what is happening on the set. Not long ago, we were still wondering who should get the main villain's role, so now we admire the shots from the set. Who is that man in black?

This hero, who gave birth to many rumors among fans, is Matthew McConaughey. He had already hit the paparazzi lenses that captured him as a black man who is unknown if from the make-up or simply because of the age looks quite emaciated (we may have a guess that he hadn’t yet gained enough weight after shooting in ‘Free State of Jones’ film). Stephen commented on the appearance of a positive character, said that he's pleased to appoint Matthew for this role. The highest elegant hairstyle, which makes him to be really unique among all colleagues on the site, along with a black suit, is his special feature. It is not known how much Matthew is willing to have this role: according to the actor, during his being as a kid he experienced real horror when reading the King's books. Another interesting fact is that the writers created a story almost as a separate saga about the adventures and misadventures of a character of McConaughey. It's different from the canonical representation. Nevertheless, the author was not opposed to such an approach to the interpretation of his works.

According to all we know we'll be able to enjoy this film only in February in the next year. It is also possible that this story will appear to be the starting one among the movies or TV series on the fate of a Matthew's character whose name is Randall Flagg. Moreover, King voluntarily changed the script in favor of different plot: Stephen wanted the story to remain unpredictable and contained a bit of mystery. Of course, it won't be even possible if the writers have blindly followed the book's script. Fans are surprisingly unanimous: in the network appear decidedly no negative comments. Writers and actors linked this fact with the participation of King in the filming. Another advantage is that Matthew's appearance is ideal for presentation of fans of Mr. Flagg.
