Oh My Gods!

Our generation gradually accustoms themselves to the books. We begin to understand how important books in our lives are, how much wisdom they contain. But thanks to technologies, the most basic thing we want is to see the characters as real as possible. Film adaptations help us with this. As the most ambitious one remains the legendary Lord of the Rings  , but now popular books came to a new level. Not long ago, as the bestseller novel was recognized Neil Gaiman's American Gods. You have to read it anyway, if you still are unfamiliar with the paper version. Moreover, it is worth to know closer the upcoming new series based on this product! The main news was the addition to the actor's family of gods of America.

Time and place

So, the three new characters announced in the official team, include one woman and two men. She will represent the ancient goddess of love, and the two men are the new gods that will be surprisingly unexpected. At least, the press-center says so, from where the news is received. In fact, this fairytale of old and new gods gained in the United States unprecedented popularity for a reason. This is primarily an experiment showing how people relate to their environment. Thus we can visually assess whether Gaiman hits the mark with his characters, and what do we lack in modern life filled with many brand-new concepts. Complicated to realize this, for someone the history from paper is unacceptable, so the appearance on the screen is primarily a semblance of social advertising.

The main character, an actor on the role of which has already been selected, is in the center. The impressive unfolding struggle for power is not a value for the aggression for existence. But what is the main human value now? Are Americans to exchange love for technology and so on? Introduced in the interesting form of a game, novel touches a deep problem that arises on its edge, sharp and cutting. The truth is so interesting and so terribly to be seen firsthand with own eyes, but we cannot escape and must see this!
