Houdini Mystical Focus

Because of the whole popularity of Sherlock  series, and its previous versions, known TV channels are trying to get into the general niche to cause great interest of viewers. It is often connected with literally crossed genres. So now we are ready to be amazed by what we saw: a new TV series called Houdini and Doyle, who promised to be released soon. The premiere is scheduled for May, so there is no much time to wait. The picture is about… well, perhaps we will not cover all the mysteries at once, and let them to be shown in order. We are confident in just one thing: we will love it!

Character traits

In the record of the creators’ list, there are series of the projects, which had great success, such as House M.D. and others. This genre is completely different, as well as actors for the main roles. The main roles, as is evident from the title, are claiming the two historical figures. It is interesting that in fact they did have friendly relations. However, despite the skepticism of both participants, there are many mystical elements. That could recall the TV series Supernatural, but there is almost no scientific component, and even more real characters. So we get the movie turns a cross between a show and a special series of Sherlock Holmes, which was held in the Victorian era. In this atmosphere, the characters are very impressive as well as their costumes. The main characters also will be remembered by their appearance: mustaches look very attractive, as we have noted.

Audience's & critics' opinion

Despite that the trailer came out in very high quality and is promising, the audience is a bit skeptical. We expect an exciting story of two famous historical characters embodied in the role of well-known actors. But also the audience fears that the creators do not overdo it, because this series is reminiscent of several different projects, among which there are even some funny experiments as Scooby Doo. As in the series, mythical secrets of the investigation include a variety of monsters that refer to the supernatural beings. Therefore, we should prepare for a meeting with all sorts of vampires, werewolves and other creatures that will amaze you with their plausibility. At least that's what the creators promise to include in a movie. As for the actors themselves, there are some experienced in series, and there are newcomers, which we are consider as a motive to expect the appearance of some new superstars on the horizon!
