Horror Does Not End

The well-known franchise stories about the villain of the movie about Friday the 13th, the day when all evil, not only mystical of mythical, comes to life and gets to their black business, continues. This time, Jason, stories of which kept in fear an entire generation, managed to slightly change the usual role. How? It was easier than they thought: it's going to be its origin. It is unknown whether the audience is interested to find out the roots of Jason, his detailed history of becoming a creature he appeared to be so we will learn more about the mysteries of his origin. Though, fans remember that a decade ago, there was a movie shot about how Jason did become himself – a blood-thirsty living-dead murderer-of-everyone. So, we guess, this film is going to be another interpretation (or a re-shoot) of already told story.

According to the creators, this story will tell much about the hero's mother, in fact it was the starting point of his problems. If there was no this woman's story, Jason would not exist, and we would have been deprived of this popular horror revised of the original movie. Given that the movie has already received a sequel, without even being shot completely, it is much more interesting to see a new story than to reevaluate the familiar one. The objectives pursued by the creators are impossible to pinpoint: we can say, they are attempting to bring a new understanding to the character, to make us sympathize with his plight. But they do not relate to him positively, because he is still a negative character in all the aspects. To add something more to the existing films we have already evaluated a small series of episodes, nevertheless they had nothing to do with the original movie as it was an independent story. Thus, the serials niche was even not in demand, and it is still free, so that creators decided to take this advantage.

Go Jason

The main thoughts about the creation of the next picture are quite unambiguous: most sincerely, fans may wonder why we need another story about hero's past. Of course, it may be interesting somehow, but Jason and his image are already formed in the understanding of the audience at the not dying maniac, so the origins of madness of the character may not be so important to only those, who interested only in slashers. Fans of the franchise go see each new film rather from a desire to see the good quality horror than imbued with some sentimental feelings, and there is nothing strange. In fact, Jason Voorhees is real madness in the flesh, all his terrible deeds look like each previous one and they are famous not because his mom's badly affection on him, but his essence. In addition, the sources of stories have already been partially uncovered, which is why the viewer is not interested to be any longer distracted by sentimental moments. If the re-shoot of already told story will be the same as original, so we may say that sentiments will still drown on the bloodbath and everyone will receive his or her own portion of lively story and of a horror.
