Far Cry Ancient Time

Computer technologies break all barriers so it is starting to be even a little scary. Nevertheless, if technology would remain at the level of generating square heads and hardly intelligible movements, progress would not be as noticeable. Therefore, we are pleased to see the first movement the character made in the new game Far Cry. By far the most striking example of changes in the quality of drawing characters was a game Lara Croft Tomb Raider . Comparing that with the first steps made during the development process, considering this game and the place where it is now, we unwittingly want to applaud the developers, because they have done a really great job. As for the Far Cry, this game originally had a higher level, but still during only the very first minutes of character crawling among bushes we literally started to think, whether it is a piece of a movie made.

The revolution in gaming

The new part of the famous brand made the foundation of the history based on the topic of primitive people. Here we can see hunt for mammoths and saber-toothed tigers to fight and confrontation of different tribes. In the fundament, there is a history about some warring nations and a small amount of those who managed to stay alive separately in their family. Now they have to search for fellows, but on the way, they get into a terrible and cruel fight with a wild animal, so only one of them survives. Now Takkar must no matter what to find his relatives. He is in danger: to survive, he needs to hunt, make weapons, to look for the roof during night for safety, to manage surviving among mass of the dangers. But our hero is smart and strong, there are plenty of possibilities for Takkar to start a fire or shoot a deer. A developed language is of particular interest, on which characters speak. This adds realism to the plot, because it could seem ridiculous if we suggest that while people could communicate with any existing language. Original names were made up for all tribes and also some details such as rock carvings and more were recreated.

Now there is a possibility to watch the very beginning moments of it and, saying the truth, it's addictive. We are watching the dramatic battle with the beast, hunting, and the very start of the road, which seems to be endless. FC will be opened to the wide publicity only in no less than a month; release is planned to happen in the border of Feb-March for users of video game consoles and computers, respectively. Well, we are willing to wait, because it is all that remained. Doubtlessly, the antagonist lives in a slightly different time, therefore, this fact does not take away its charm. The biggest important pluses is in developers' capacity to convey this atmosphere, where there are animals much stronger and more magnificent than man, and therefore, the character has to awake his inner animal to manage to stay alive.
