For The Dancing And The Dreaming Lyrics

For The Dancing And The Dreaming Song Lyrics

I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me.

No scorching sun,
Nor freezing cold,
Will stop me on my journey,
If you will promise me your heart
And love me for eternity.

My Dearest One, My Darling Dear,
Your mighty words astound me;
But I’ve no need of mighty deeds,
When I feel your arms around me.

But I will bring you rings of gold,
And even sing you poetry,
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me.

I have no use for rings of gold,
I care not for your poetry,
I only want your hand to hold,
I only want you near me.

To love and kiss, to sweetly hold,
For the dancing and the dreaming.
Through all my sorrows and all nights,
I’ll keep your love inside me.

I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me! I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me.

No scorching sun,
Nor freezing cold,
Will stop me on my journey,
If you will promise me your heart
And love me for eternity.

My Dearest One, My Darling Dear,
Your mighty words astound me;
But I’ve no need of mighty deeds,
When I feel your arms around me.

But I will bring you rings of gold,
And even sing you poetry,
And I would keep you from all harm
If you would stay beside me.

I have no use for rings of gold,
I care not for your poetry,
I only want your hand to hold,
I only want you near me.

To love and kiss, to sweetly hold,
For the dancing and the dreaming.
Through all my sorrows and all nights,
I’ll keep your love inside me.

I’ll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne’er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you will marry me!

Pop music begins with the harp, continues with whistling and barely audible quiet voice, which is not even singing but saying. Only during the second verse, it is more or less clear what we hear with straining – this is a song. It awkwardly interrupted by some half-drunk voice of a second guy, but then he apologized and the song resumes in seconds. A woman's voice is very deep, but it belongs to too adult woman, not to a girl, as a cartoon’s character.
