The Secret Of Frankenstein’s Beloved Woman
New film about Frankenstein had given a start for a set of films, most of which are remakes from the old ones. So, in the nearest future we are to expect for the new so-called romantic story: a new version of a Bride of Frankenstein. For some time it was unknown who will play the main part but now studio has announced about its choice. So, we are glad to inform you, that the woman who is supposed to be the bride is … Angelina Jolie!
How and when
Two basic questions that excite the wide publicity. The original version was filmed in 1935 and it was a remake for the Frankenstein in classical view as the scenario was based on the Mary Shelley’s book. Bride of Frankenstein was much softer and it wasn’t full of such huge amount of jokes (black humor) as the basic story. The original movie was even nominated for Oscar prize as the film with the best sound.
Crew’s opinion
Even the director’s name managed to change since the beginning of all talks. There is only one known-for-sure name now – Brian Grazer, the producer. Despite the creation of the movie was intended already in 2009, now it is still covered with the mystery’s mist. Obviously, the creators decided to wait for a while before the stir of the Frankenstein will calm down. Even Angelina Jolie herself hasn’t still confirmed the rumors about her participation in the movie. Nevertheless, Universal studio thinks she will agree for this significant classical role and now they spend time on developing the detailed scenario. Previous bride was performed by Elsa Lanchester and Boris Karloff was the monster itself. Jolie is now pretty busy with her new By The Sea release and, probably, is not ready to accept or to deny the invitation.
